WordPress Plugin 2.5.0 Introduces One-Click Setup and Smarter Error Handling
New York, United States – April 3, 2026 / Search Atlas /
NEW YORK, NY – Search Atlas, the leading AI-powered digital marketing platform built for agencies and growth-focused teams, today announced a series of major updates to its OTTO SEO automation tool. The three updates – OTTO DeepFreeze, WordPress Plugin 2.5.0, and native CMS Connectors – directly address challenges marketers have repeatedly raised around AI SEO tooling: what happens to optimizations after a subscription ends, how reliably the platform handles complex site configurations, and how consistently changes are applied across different content management system (CMS) environments.
“As AI-powered marketing automation matures as a category, marketers and agencies deserve platforms that meet a high standard of reliability and transparency,” said Manick Bhan, Founder and CTO of Search Atlas.
OTTO DeepFreeze Feature
OTTO’s newly released DeepFreeze feature allows SEO optimizations to remain active on a website even after a subscription has been canceled. Once the feature is turned on, all changes deployed by OTTO – including technical SEO improvements such as schema markup and meta tags – stay live on the site. DeepFreeze is available at no cost and does not depend on an active subscription. Users also retain the ability to modify or reverse any optimizations at any point.
“The work SEO agents do on a website should belong to that site and not to a billing cycle,” Bhan added.
For agencies, DeepFreeze ensures that client deliverables continue performing regardless of subscription status. For in-house marketing teams, it means that previously completed SEO work is not lost when budgets shift or subscriptions change.
WordPress Plugin 2.5.0 Improves Setup and Stability
Search Atlas has launched version 2.5.0 of its WordPress plugin, with a focus on simplifying the setup process and reducing the integration errors that users previously encountered. The update introduces single sign-on authentication, enabling users to connect their Search Atlas account in a single click. The plugin now automatically detects and links the correct OTTO project for the associated domain, eliminating the manual steps that previously involved API key entry and credential copy-pasting.
A built-in connection status indicator confirms that the site and Search Atlas are properly synced before any deployment begins. When WordPress debug mode is enabled, the plugin generates anonymous error logs that users can share with the support team for faster issue resolution. Agency users benefit from automatic white-label branding sync across the plugin with no additional configuration required.
Native Integration Across 10+ Platforms
The platform’s newly introduced CMS Connectors dashboard provides authenticated, API-level integration between Search Atlas and more than 10 content management platforms, including Shopify, HubSpot, Wix, Contentful, GoHighLevel, Drupal, Joomla, Magento, and Salesforce.
These connectors establish a secure link between each platform and Search Atlas, improving content detection accuracy on CMS environments that limit access for public crawlers. Once a connection is established, Search Atlas’s AI content tool can publish articles, generate drafts, and populate SEO metadata fields directly within the connected CMS – with no manual copying or reformatting required.
Each connector is managed through the CMS Connectors dashboard found within Search Atlas account settings and can be added, removed, or reconfigured at any time.
Availability
OTTO DeepFreeze, WordPress Plugin 2.5.0, and CMS Connectors are all available now. Existing users can access DeepFreeze through their OTTO project settings, and the updated WordPress plugin is accessible through the standard WordPress plugin update process.
“These updates are our commitment to that standard, giving marketing teams the confidence to fully embrace agentic execution at scale knowing their work is protected, their integrations are stable, and the results they build are permanent,” Bhan concluded.
